Day 17
Let’s get one thing straight:
Loving yourself doesn’t mean you stop growing.
And wanting to grow doesn’t mean you don’t love who you are right now.
Somewhere along the way, we picked up the lie that it’s either/or.
You either accept yourself as is and “just be content”…
Or you chase growth like you’re not good enough until you become something more.
But here’s the truth that changed everything for me:
You’re allowed to love yourself AND want to grow.
That’s not a contradiction. That’s confidence.
Read that again.
Loving yourself means recognizing your worth now, not just when you check the boxes, lose the weight, or hit the goal.
But growth? That’s just love in motion. It’s choosing to become more of who you truly are.
You can celebrate how far you’ve come and still stretch toward where you’re going.
You can appreciate your body now and still work toward healing, strength, or change.
You can feel proud of your progress and still dream bigger.
One doesn’t cancel the other out.
It amplifies it.
Growth rooted in love lasts.
Growth rooted in shame exhausts you.
So if you’re on a journey right now—whether it’s physical, emotional, spiritual, or all three—I want you to know this:
You’re not doing it because you’re broken.
You’re doing it because you’re blooming.
This is the energy we carry at Ever After Her.
We don’t wait to be perfect.
We don’t hustle for worth.
We become—one bold, honest, loving step at a time.
And in case no one told you lately?
You’re doing incredible work.
Keep going.
You don’t have to choose between love and growth.
You get to have both
