I used to think a beautiful life would be found in the milestones.
The day I published the book.
The day I reached my goal weight.
The day the business took off.
The day everything finally came together.
But lately I’ve been wondering if I had it backwards.
Maybe a beautiful life isn’t built on milestones.
Maybe it’s built on mornings.
The kind where the sun warms your skin before the world asks anything of you.
The kind where someone you love falls asleep in your arms.
The kind where nothing remarkable happens…
…except you notice it.
For now, these mornings happen every Sunday.
I don’t know if they’ll always look like this.
Life changes.
Children grow.
Seasons pass.
But today, this is enough.
And maybe that’s what I’ve been searching for all along.
Not a life that looks extraordinary from the outside.
A life that feels extraordinary while I’m living it.
